• Sound/Noise originating from temporary construction sites as a result of construction activity are exempt from the noise limits
of ECC Chapter 5.30 only during the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm on weekdays and 10:00am and 6:00pm on Saturdays,
excluding Sundays and Federal Holidays. At all other times the noise originating from construction sites/activities must
comply with the noise limits of Chapter 5.30, unless a variance has been granted pursuant to ECC 5.30.120.

harmless the City of Edmonds, Washington, its officials, employees, and agents from any and all claims for damages of

Drawings affected: S4.0, S8.0 and S8.1
Description / Action: Per Section 8/S8.0 the contractors has determined that the required wall to floor
tie connections were not in place at the common wall south of the remodel, therefore a system to
brace the wall for out of plan loading is required. The system can be steel column strongbacks and
wood blocking as detailed for the North wall of the remodel. The spacing will be as shown on '
elevation 7/58.1 and the detail shall be 11/58.1. Clip angles as shown on elevation 7/58.1 will be
required at the intersection of the wall and the west wall. They are not required at the intersection of
the wall and the east wall.
