Please redline plans or submit three (3) sets of revised plans/documents with a written response to each of the items below to Linda Thornquist. Review 1 – 12/10/2009 Review 2 – 3/2/2010 – Next to a few of the comments below it has been noted that the plans have been redlined to address the comment. If new plans are submitted, please include the redline comments into the revised plan set. ok 1) 3/2/2010 – Thank you for providing a haul route plan. The haul route plan has been 2) th redlined to show truck travel from 9 Ave to SR-104. SR-104 can be followed to Hwy 99 or I-5. 12/10/09 - Provide a haul route and traffic control plan. Although Puget Drive is not a preferred truck route, truck travel on this road is preferred over travel on Olympic View Drive. Please specify solo dump trucks will be used. 3/2/2010 – Thank you for providing a traffic control plan. The TCP has been redlined to 3) show the distance between the Road Work Ahead sign and the work area as 100’. L has been found to be 125’ (based on 25mph and 12’ lane width) and therefore, 1/3L = 42’. The plans have been redlined to reflect these changes. 12/10/09 - Please provide a traffic control plan. A certified flagger must be present to assist with truck movements into and out of the site if an on-site turnaround will not be provided. ok 4) 3/2/2010 – Response letter states the comment is noted, however the note does not appear 5) to be on the plan set. A redline note has been added to the plans. 12/10/09 - Question 11 on the environment checklist indicates the scope of work is to include layout of the driveway \[for future house\]. The plans indicate an 18% slope in the area of the proposed rock construction entrance. This slope is acceptable for the construction entrance, but please keep in mind that City Code allows a maximum 14% slope for driveways. ok 6) 3/2/2010 – The catch basin on Olympic View Drive that has been identified for the storm 7) tightline connection, as well as placement of the filter sock, actually appears to be over the sanitary sewer main. Please confirm the location of this CB and revise the sanitary sewer line type in this area so the label “SS” doesn’t appear on the CB. 12/10/09 - Show any drainage lines that will be installed with the construction of the rockery and/or retaining wall. Indicate connection to storm system as well. Please contact me at 425-771-0220 or by e-mail at mcconnell@ci.edmonds.wa.us if you have specific questions regarding these plan corrections. Page 2 of 2
