During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at
our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us under City Government / Development Services Department /
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:
SITE PLAN
1)Show the location of the water service line from the meter to the house.
2)Show the location of the side sewer from the sewer main to the house.
3)Please show the location of the Sanitary Sewer Easement (attached) along the West portion of
your property.
4)Clearly label and show all retaining walls, rockeries, and fences as existing and proposed.
a.Per site visist it appears that there ia a rockery and a fence on the property, but is not
shown on the plans. Please revise accordingly.
5)Per a site visit, there is a shed on the property, but not shown on the plans.
a.Please revise the plans showing the shed and any other impervious surfaces.
b.Please update the impervious surface calculations accordingly.
6)New impervious surfaces are new areas constructed outside of the existing roof area. It appears
that you may have calculated some areas twice.
a.Please show the existing roof overhang and the proposed roof overhang so that the
impervious surface calculations can be verified.
7)Please include the driveway and the year of construction in the impervious surface calculations.
8)If the decks are slotted decks over a landscaped area the deck is considered pervious and is not
included in the impervious surface calculations. If the decks are constructed over impervious area

pervious please note on plans as such.
9)Please show or note on plans where the existing downspouts currently release, where the driveway
surface water runoff leaves your property, and show any storm system installed on your property
(i.e. do they release to splash blocks, do the downspouts go into the ground to an existing system,
etc.).
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised site drawings and associated documents with a written response to
