4/27/10 The Public Works Director, Noel Miller, maintains the City of Edmonds standard that no structure
can be built over an easement. In this case, the existing carport cannot be enclosed to create a garage.
However, Mrs. Bettinger’s second request to enlarge the carport is consistent with the easement
requirements as long as the new construction (addition to carport) is not in the easement area. Please
revise the site plan and construction plans to show these changes.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Please
