GENERAL
1.August 23, 2010 Thank you for submitting a cost estimate. Please revise the estimate, as
noted below, to provide an itemized breakdown of all on-site & off-site (right-of-way)
improvements. Cost estimate shall include unit designation (each, lineal foot, etc.) and unit
prices. The cost estimate should reflect only those elements pertaining to civil improvements
and not actual building construction. The King County Bond Quantity Worksheet is a great
spreadsheet to use and can be found easily by doing a Google search.
July 26, 2010 City is still awaiting submittal of cost estimate.
July 8, 2010 response letter states the cost estimate will be provided by the contractor. Please
note, this information shall be submitted to the City prior to permit issuance.
5/5/10 comment - Please provide an itemized cost estimate, including units and unit prices, for both
on-site and off-site (right-of-way) improvements, including traffic control.
A bond is required to be placed for all right-of-way improvements. The amount of the bond will

be based on 120% of the City approved estimate for all right-of-way improvements. The City
will inform you of the appropriate bond amount after review of the cost estimate. Bond forms

Inspection fees for this project will be calculated at 2.2% of the 120% City approved estimate
