During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts and Standard Details referred to in these
comments can be accessed at our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us by clicking City Government / City

General Comments:
1.Impervious surface calculations appear in two places on the site plan. One states 329 sf of new
impervious surface and the other 738 sf of impervious surface. Please remove the one that is incorrect
on the 3 site plans, and on page A-1 of the architectural plans.
2.It appears that the garage and decks will be constructed over an existing slab. If that is correct then only
the new stairs, new portion of concrete driveway and any additional roofline will count as “new”
impervious surface. Please be aware that if any portion of the slab is removed to bare dirt or subgrade,
replacement of that area would be considered “new”.
3.Please show existing utilities from property line to house on site plans.
4.Is new deck runoff being directed to new sump? If so, please add arrows indicating the direction of flow
on deck to point of connection to tightline. Add deck to tightline note.
If deck runoff will not be connected to tightline, please note on plans how the runoff will be handled.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Please
