During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts and Standard Details referred to in these
comments can be accessed at our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us by clicking City Government / City

Please Note: Building Handouts do not include updated Engineering Division Requirements. Refer to
Engineering Handouts for all Engineering Requirements.
1. Shade all areas proposed with this project. Clearly show where the portion of the existing driveway ends and
the proposed driveway begins. Dimension all sides.
2. Add the length of driveway from new garage to proposed edge of pavement.
3. It appears that the side sewer will be under the proposed driveway. Side sewer must be a minimum 1ft from
top of pipe to bottom of asphalt driveway if using SDR 35 or better. If not able to obtain 1ft of coverage as
described, sewer line must be replaced with ductile iron. A separate side sewer permit is required for any
changes or replacement. Show on site plan and drainage plan.
4. Impervious surface of proposed driveway on the site plan does not match the driveway impervious surface
shown on the Grading plan. Please revise to provide consistent information.
5. Please add temporary erosion sediment control (TESC) measures on plans, e.g. catch basin protection.
Provide details consistent with City of Edmonds standard details.
6. Add note to plans: “All disturbed areas on and off site shall be compost amended”.
7 Show placement area of your temporary stockpile.
8. Grading plan shows 23% grade on existing driveway. Please confirm.
