7/13/12 – Comment was partially addressed.
1)
a.If a vault is to be installed, please submit engineering calculations.
b.Please relocate the vault under the asphalt, so that you are not adding more impervious
surfaces to the site.
c.Or use the standard pipe plan for a category 1 site.
d.For any pipe that is under a driveable surface, 2’ of cover is required or ductile iron or N12
can be used with 1’ of cover.
e.Please show rim and invert elevations for all catch basins both on private property and
within the right-of-way.
10/14/11 - There must be access to the detention system (cleanout is too small).
f.Please show a type II catch basin at each end of the detention pipe.
g.If the installation of the cacth basins change how the surface water runoff is being collected,
please revise the plans to show how all runoff will be collected.

7/13/12 – Comment was partially addressed. Plans show a 4” pipe within the right-of-way.

a.The pipe within the right-of-way must be 12”.
b.There can not be any bends in the pipe that is located in the right-of-way.
c.For any pipe that is under a driveable surface within the right-of-way, 2’ of cover is
required or ductile iron can be used with 1’ of cover.
10/14/11 Comment - The storm system outfall pipe (from the detention system to the city system)
cannot be approved as shown on the plans.
d.Any run of the storm pipe within the city ROW shall be 12”.
