Refer to Engineering Handouts for all Engineering Requirements. The plans for the Rixmann single family home can not be reviewed by the Engineer Division as submitted. The information listed below must be presented prior to the City reviewing the project. 1. Please revise the Site Classification Worksheet to comply with the following: a) Edmonds Community Development Code section 18.30.010 NN “Replaced impervious surface” means for structures, the removal and replacement of any exterior impervious surfaces or foundation. In other words, structures removed and replaced are considered “replaced” but are not considered as “exempt” or “non-exempt”. Therefore for your project 2,572 is replaced + 967 new = 3,539 sf of impervious surface that must meet the mitigation requirements of the 2010 Stormwater Code. Use this total amount of impervious surface to determine the classification of your site and submit full stormwater plans, mitigation reports and details as necessary. See the Stormwater Supplement to determine the specific requirements for your project’s classification. b) Also, the Grading, Fill or Excavation Area box is asking for the cut and fill amounts—sorry that is definitely not clearly stated. The Engineering Division will review your plans as soon as we receive the information requested.
