During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at
our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us under City Government / Development Services Department /
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:
A complete review can not be performed at this time. Please submit the following information so a full
review can be performed. Some of the submission requirements are noted below but please review the
appropriate City handouts to ensure you are providing all the information required.
1. Please provide a complete site plan showing all property lines, proposed and existing structures and all
driveways, sidewalks etc. See Handout B#61 Residential Addition site plan example.
2. 2/8/11 Please see corrections to classification box. Please review Engineering Handout E#72. Please
complete Classification Worksheet provided and include impervious surface box on site plan.
3. 2/8/11 Add note to plan “Existing Structures Runoff to Splashblock, Addition to Splashblock” (or to
tightline, whatever the drainage system for the house is). Show on plans how drainage will be handled
from new impervious surface.
4. 2/8/11 Add note to site plan “Erosion control measures consistant with City of Edmonds Standard
Details as needed.” Show temporary erosion control measures on plans, include details of each type
used. See City of Edmonds standard details available on the city website.
5. 2/8/11 The Structural Lot Coverage calculations that were added to the site plan are actually the
Impervious Surface Calculations. I have made a couple changes to meet Engineerings requirements for
those calculations and attached a copy for you to review. Planning will still want you to add Lot
Coverage calculations too. . I believe that Lot Coverage refers only to the structures square footage
wall to wall. It does not include any walkways or eves. Please contact Planning for more information.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Please
contact me at 425-771-0220 if you have specific questions regarding these plan corrections.
