Jerry Shuster, Stormwater Program Manager,
I am writing on behalf of Bank of America, the owner of 1040 Puget Drive. We are
requesting that the swale originally included on the Grading & Drainage Plan, dated
1/5/2006 be omitted. The plans called for an asphalt or concrete driveway. The driveway
has instead been done with pavers. Although they are considered impervious, water does
drain between the cracks even in the heaviest of rains. The slope of the driveway takes
any water that does flow down the driveway to three catch basins, with the collected water
going to the detention system. We would ask that the area to the east of the driveway be
allowed to be left as it is - sand, with the ability to be landscaped in the future. Thank
you,
Jeff Vehrs
