Ron,
I have discussed this project with our City Attorney and it was determined that the proposed addition of an antenna
hanging over the right of way is by definition considered a use of the right of way and therefore the project is regulated
under the AT & T (Cingular) Master Use agreement, Ordinance 3534.
To continue review of your proposal, the following information must be submitted;
1) A Street Use permit application (Section 3 A);
2) A Right of Way permit application per agreement (Section 3 A), including a pedestrian control plan for the area
below the installation area;
3) A Certificate of Insurance (Section 18);
4) Fees: Street Use Permit $85 + 15 city surcharge = $ 100 (Section 3 B)
Right of Way Permit $240 + city surcharge = $ 260 (Section 3 B)
Franchise Annual Fee $2,000 (Section 15)
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
