This Review is conducted in accordance with 2009 IFC and Edmonds Community Development
Code. Fire Services provides the following comments for submittal:

1. Previous maps show 10431 226 St SW that will be confusing with 10431 226 Pl SW
across the street. For Snohomish County Assessor and emergency services, identify

how 10435 226 St can be created on the same parcel as 650 Edmonds Way.
2. Resubmit for your use. I see email with new occupancy type and use. If front end area is
intended to be a banquet area, call out BANQUET AREA. Specifically, applicant tells city
what he wants to do not what is assumed the city will agree to.
3. If this space will be leased, provide lease agreement for evaluation of requirements and
responsibilities for use.
4. Provide furniture plan for egress.
5. For existing fireplace in A2, open flame is not allowed in Assembly occupancies. IFC
308.3
6. Post occupant load in places of assembly.
7. Provide minimum 2A:10B:C listed portable fire extinguisher.
8. Post approved address on building minimum 6” letters with ¾” stroke with contrasting
background, that is legible and viewable from access drive.
