I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found that the following information, corrections,or clarifications will need to be addressed before the Planning Division review can continue. 1.Sign Type: Pole signs (that is, signs supported by visible polesper ECDC 20.60.020.L) are not permitted in the RM-2.4 zone. How do you plan on disguising the poles? Will the sign be buried up to the sign face? Will the poles be wrapped around the base with another material(for example, brick)? Please explainand revise your plans as necessary. 2.Landscaping: ECDC 20.60.045.G requires landscaping to be installed around the base of the sign (the amount is twice the sign area, so 11.33x2=22.66 square feetrequired). Please show this landscaping area on the site plan and indicate the proposed species that you’d like to use. : Please submit a written response to the above, along with any revised plansto your Permit Coordinator .
