Instead of writing a long list of comments, I am attaching an example of the three plans that are required for
single family residential construction (Handout B73). They are a sitelplot pian, a grading/temporary erosion
control plan, and a drainage/utility plan. Please revise your plans with the information shown on the
examples. This will get us to a place where we can then just concentrate on the details of the project. Please
remember that these are just examples. There may be other requirements depending on your project (for
example, the information needed for specific low impact development materials).
Please add a detail for the dryweli construction on the plans. Confirm that impervious surface calculations
include the eaves of the structures. A manufacturer's spec sheet is required for the pervious concrete. Also,
review the City of Edmonds handout E72B page 4, Design Criteria for all BMPs and Permeable
Pavement. Review requirements and show on plan that all the criteria are met. For example, show the
required setback of the permeable concrete from the structure and a 5 ft setback from the property line.
Also show the location of the nearest fire hydrant and call out the distance between the property and the
hydrant.
