Thank you for submitting a building permit application for a remodel at 1021 Bell Street in the RS-6
zone. I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found
that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before the
Planning Division review can continue.
1.Accessory Dwelling Unit / Adult Family Home: Please clarify the proposed land use for this site.
There is a note on the permit that this might be an Adult Family Home – is this what you’re
requesting? I see two kitchens and two laundry rooms on the floor plans. Are you requesting an
Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) permit? Please clarify so I can determine if there are additional city
processes and codes to follow.
2.Parking:The code requires that two parking stalls (8.5’x16.5’) to be provided on site for each single
family zoned lot. Please show, by drawing two to-scale parking space rectangles on yoursite plan,
where these two stalls will remain if not in the existing garage.
