DRY UTILITIES
6/12/13 –Comment was partially addressed. The utilities need to be parallel to the road and run
1)
perpendicular into propertyat the nearest property line. Please revise the plans accordingly.
5/17/13 Comment: Please show the locations of the dry utilities (i.e. PUD, PSE, Comcast, Verizon) so
that 3’ separation from water, sewer, and storm can be verified.

STORM
1)OK
2)6/12/13 –Engineer responded to comment; however the city requires that the surface water runoff
discharge directly to the storm system and not through landscaping first. Please either relocate
the CB within the driveway or add additional asphaltto surround CB. Please note that if you add
additional asphalt the impervious surface calculations and stormwater system will need to be
adjusted accordingly.
5/17/13 Comment: Please show how the surface water runoff from the driveway will be collected.
3)6/12/13 –Comment was addressed; however the City does not require that the footing drains be
tied into a CB, although this is acceptable.Alternatively, the footing drains can be connected
directly to the outfall line (such as witha wye). It was hard to see the footing drain line on the
plans. Please clearly label the footing drain line.
