During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts and Standard Details referred to in these
comments can be accessed at our website: www.edmondswa.gov by choosing the Government tab and
Public Works| Engineering under Departments:
Please Note: Building Handouts do not include updated Engineering Division Requirements. Refer to
Engineering Handouts for all Engineering Requirements.
1. Please call out on the plans the “replaced” area of patio as referenced on the Site
Classification Worksheet.
2. Note total square footage of each impervious area on the plan.
3. Is “crushed granite paving” a new or replaced impervious surface? If new, please add to
calculations.
4. Confirm that impervious surface total square footage is consistent between the plans and
the Worksheet.
5. There are a couple places where top of wall and bottom of wall elevations are noted as the
same elevation. Please confirm that this is correct.
6. The Insurance Certification must include a description of the encroachment. For example,
“retaining wall, fence and patio extending 7’ 6” into unimproved alley”. Please submit a
revised copy.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Please
