I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before the Planning Division review can continue. 1. Height: The maximum height of a fence is 6 feet (ECDC 17.30.000.C states, unless a variance is obtained, no fence shall be more than six feet in height). As shown, the fence is proposed over 6 feet due to the addition of barbed wire at the top. Please revise your plans so that the total height of the fence remains at or under 6 feet. Options include: removing the barbed wire, or, reducing the total height of the fence to 59 so that 3 of barbed wire remains on top. : Please submit a written response to the above, along with any revised plans to your Permit CoordinatorMarie Harrison.
