During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts and Standard Details referred to in these
comments can be accessed at our website: www.edmondswa.gov by choosing the Government tab and
Public Works| Engineering under Departments:
1.August resubmittal of sheet #4 did not respond to the 8/1/14 comments from the Stormwater
Engineer. Drainage Comments. Copies of the comments sent on 8/1/14 are included in this
correspondence. Please respond to all comments and provide a new stormwater report if
necessary.
2.A “V” swale does not appear to be an effective measure to direct runoff around the handicap stall
area. To meet Building division requirements for ADA it would have to be very shallow as it
would be tripping hazard if not. A very shallow swale will not be able to catch all the runoff from
the majority of the site. Please provide adequate measures to avoid directing the majority of
runoff to the handicap stall.
3.Please provide additional contour information to show clearly where all runoff will be directed.
