During review of the subject submittal,it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications wouldneed to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at
our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.usunder City Government / Development Services Department /
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:
1)Please show utilities on the site plan (water service line, side sewer and storm water)as well as fences
within the property.
2)With a satellite image I can see that there are a number of impervious surfaces in the backyard not
accounted for. Please label and show all impervious surfaces on the plans (walkways, patios, steps,
driveway,gravel areas, roofs,sheds, etc.) and sqft. as well as provide the date of construction.
Impervious surfaces are any hard surface that prevents or retards the entry of water into the ground as it
would occur in natural conditions.Please revise the impervious surface calculations accordingly.
3)Please note, slotted wood decks and steps with permeable surfaces beneth are considered pervious.
4)Please fill out and attach the table from the Site Classification Worksheet within handout E72,totaling
all existing impervious surfaces and proposed.
5)Please note thatall new impervious surfacesaddedsince 1995(annexation date), exceeding2000sqft,
will require astorm watermanagement system.Please show the storm water system if required.
6)Please clearly identify the propertyline.
7)Please explain the 50ft width on the site plan.
8)Please show your driveway connecting with the street.
