During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at
our website: www.edmondswa.gov/under City Government / Development Services Department /
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:
1)Please add a note that asilt fence will be installed as needed per Edmonds Standard Detail E1.1.
2)Please add a note that the filter socks will be added as needed per Edmonds Standard Detail E1.3.
3)Please add a note that all disturbed soils will be compost amended.
4)Please identifyproperty line as well as edge of pavement.
5)Please note that if impervious surfaces constructed after1977exceed 2000sqft, a stormwater
management system will be required. Please show the stormwater system if required. See Handout E72.
6)Please show on the site plan the year of construction forall impervious surfaces (gravel areas, gravel
driveway, walkwaysin addition to existing structure)or label as ‘Proposed’.
7)Please provide square footage on the site plan for all proposed impervious surfaces and confirm they
coordinate withthesubmitted Site Classification Worksheet.
8)New proposed impervious surfaces within the right of way must be counted toward project proposed
impervious surfaces. Please make sure impervious surface calculations reflect all new impervious
surfaces.
9)Please identify what is to be done with the existing driveway and adjacent approach off of 214th.Ifthe
approach no longer provides access for parking then it shall be removed. Will these surfacesbe pervious
or impervious?
10)Proposed building design shows roof eaves for the garage, make sure to add this to your new impervious
surface calculations for the proposed garage.
11)Please provide width of proposed driveway. City Development code allows amax 24’ wide driveway
entrance for a two car garage. See standard detailE2.26.

12)Will the new driveway be constructed out of asphalt? Please state on site plan proposed materials.
13)Do you intend on adding a walkway from the garageto the home, if so please show this on your site plan
with new impervious surfaces.
