During review of the subject submittal,it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications wouldneed to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at
our website: www.edmondswa.gov/under City Government / Development Services Department /
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:
1)Please add a note that a silt fence will be installed as needed per Edmonds Standard Detail E1.1.
2)Please add a note thatfilter socks will be added as needed per Edmonds Standard Detail E1.3.
3)Please show the location ofthe water service line from the water meter to the house.
4)Please show the location ofthe side sewer line from the main to the house.
5)Due tothe proposedaddition/remodel,per City Development Code, 18.80.060the driveway is required to be
brought up to current standards; therefore,the driveway must be a hard surface (i.e. asphalt, concrete, etc.).
Please label on the site plan the proposed driveway material.Please note that this is considered exempt
impervious surfaces and will not be counted towards the new impervious surfaces.
6)Please label the deck as impervious or pervious (slotted decks are considered pervious).
a)If the deck is pervious, label the surface beneath the deck on your site plan, impervious or pervious
(landscape, concrete walk, gravel etc.) as well as provide date of construction and square footage.
b)Please revise the impervious surface calculations accordingly.
7)Please a) label and show all impervious surfaces on the plans (walkways, patios, steps,gravel,etc.) and b)
provide square footageas well as c) provide the date of construction.Please revise the impervious surface
calculations accordingly.
8)Please provide a Site Classification Chart on your plans. See Handout E72 pg.5(attached)
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator.
