Planning Division comments for building permit file (Hamburger Harry’s)

Thank you for submitting a building permit application for at in the
BD3
zone. I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found that
the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before the Planning Division
review can continue.
1.Specifications:
One thing that I need to confirm is that the proposal will remain under the height limit
(which it appears to; however, I still need to record the approximate height of this proposalin our permit
tracking system). One detail I found shows a height of 33”, but I’m unclear which product this is for. Please
provide the mounted height of both of the products: the grease exhaust and the new make up air.
2.DesignReview:
I need to determine if the proposal will adequately blend into the look of the building, or if
additional screening or painting would be required to make the proposal less conspicuousto pedestrians.
Will the duct work be exposed, or willit be mostly internal (except for the portion of the new equipment to
be located on the roof)? What color are the proposed materials and the existing façade where they’re to be
located (the roof)? It may be helpful to demonstrate how this project will blend into the overall look of the
building by submitting a photo of the existing street view and sketching the proposed equipment. Please help
me understand how this project won’t be noticeable from the street by identifying the location of the new
work as well as the colors chosen or the location of any existing screening which would hide it from view.
3.Elevations:
The elevation is labeled “front view” and “side view” but it is still unclear if this is showing the
north, south, east, or west elevation. Please clarify.
