CITY REQUIREMENTS 1. Sheet A-1 Construction permit for sprinkler permit is required as called out. Ongoing City Operational Permit for liquid spraying will be required for GW Auto Rebuild. IFC 105.6.41 2. Sheet A-1 Call out occupancy type for building. Show calculations for limited finishing workstation and spray booth(s) area limits to building area (IFC 2404.3.2.6) AREA REQUIREMENTS 3. Call out class and site storage quantities of liquids used in CTOF spray application, mixing room and existing spray booth operations. Identify MAQs and control areas where applicable (IFC Table 5003.1.1(1)). 4. Will limited spray operations ever be conducted outside CTOF or existing spray booth? Provide approved signage calling for No smoking, hot work and welding, open flames, spark- producing devices, and listed industrial trucks of CTOF (IFC 2403.2.2 through 2403.2.8) 10. For spray area operations rubbish, provide metal waste cans with self-closing lids. 11. Provide 4A:40B:C type portable fire extinguisher in area of spray and mixing operations. Call out the operations and interlock features of CTOF operations automatic, or dependent upon work station operator manual actions? 14. Describe how existing spray booth and CTOF are adequately provided clear space for purposes of unit service and maintenance. FIRE PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS 15. Fire suppression activation during continuous spray application operations shall meet automatic requirements of NFPA 33 9.2. Call out sequence of operations for emergency events, including exhaust and ventilation operations. a. Automatic sprinkler, where installed, shall meet design criteria for extra hazard occupancies in NFPA 13 and requirements of NFPA 33 9.4. Call out water supply where installed. b. Automatic suppression system, where installed, shall meet requirements of NFPA 33 9.5. 2
