Please note that a pre-construction meeting is not required for new single family residences. 4)Show all easements and reference the recording numberfor the plat. WATER 1)Clearly distinguishthe portions of the water service linethat was installed with the short plat and the portion proposed to be installed. 2)It appears that a fire sprinkler system is required for this property. SEWER 1)Please add a note that all necessary permits and inspectionsrelated to the Sewerwill be coordinated and completed by Olympic View Water and Sewer District. 2)Show the side sewer from the main to the house. 3)Clearly distinguishthe portions of the sewer that was installed with the short plat and the portion proposed to be installed. 4)Show that thereis a minimum of 10’separation from the sewer and water. STORM 1)The GeotechnicalReport provided by Earth Solutions dated 6/3/14, conflicts with theGeotechnical Report provided by Western Engineers dated 4/24/13 for the short plat. a)Earth Solutions statesthat at 4’depth they‘hitrefusal on dense material’.The report from Western Engineers states that from 0”-48”they found medium to gravelly sandy loam. Please verify the soil material at 4’depth. If thematerial is as statedby Earth Solutions, this suggests thatthis layer may be till and wouldnot be receptive to infiltration. Please determine the thickness of this layer. b)Per the Edmonds Stormwater Code Supplement, if the infiltration test is conducted between May 1 and October31, the correction factor shall be two times the correction factor listed in Table C- 1 (USDA method) or Table C-2 (modified PITmethod in Appendix C of the Supplement. Please revise accordingly. 2)At this time the City will not continue review of the storm system until these items have been addressed. TESC 1)Please revise the title of theTESC, Grading, and Stormwater Planto‘TESC and Grading Plan’. 2)Please add grading calculations. 3)Please show/note how the permeable asphaltwill be protected during construction.Incorporate protection of the permeable pavement in the construction sequence. 4)Pleaseshow the construction entrance to the east of the permeable pavement andreference the Edmonds Standard Detail E1.2. 5)Please add a note to the plans that filter socks will be added to any catch basins downstream from the construction site per Edmonds Standard Detail E1.3. 6)Please reference the Edmonds Standard Detail E1.1for the installation of the silt fence. Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plansand associated documents with a written response to each item to a Permit Coordinator.
