Please resubmit once all city departments have provided comments. 1) SD2: Callout fire hydrant locations and status here, or on civils. 2) SD2: Callout refresh fire lane striping here, or on civils. 3) Provide hazardous material inventory statement (HMIS) for ongoing store inventory limits of hazardous products, hazardous materials and flammable & combustible liquids. Include cooking oil storage for SERVICE DELI. 4) FP-1: Provide description and detail for HAZARDOUS MATERIALS STORAGE RACK at match line J-7.2 5) FP-1: Noted additional sidewalk provided to public way from EXIT 100A, thanks. 6) FP-1: Provide specifications for cart charger (match line C-9.5) and forklift charger (match line G.7-9) 7) FP-1: Provide specifications & fuel storage capacity for diesel generator. 8) FP-3: Clarify EQUIPMENT/FIXTURE SCHEDULE for BUILDING/RECEIVING indicates 120 gallon propane fuel for generator & GENERAL NOTE 3. 9) A2: Demarcate floor surrounding fire sprinkler riser area minimum 3 radius from riser and fire protection equipment with yellow floor paint (match line J-6.9). 10) A4: FRONT ELEVATION existing Knox box will remain. Contact fire marshal early in project to open box and preserve box for re-installation at approved location. 11) A4: REAR ELEVATION: Add Knox box at DOOR 126D for fire control access (key note #27). 12) A20: Provide comments to consideration of high rack combustible storage and fire protection design requirements. Are in-rack sprinkler provisions indicated: why, or why not? 13) A24: Provide building address 21900 viewable from Highway 99 frontage on contrasting background. 14) A24: Provide: FIRE PROTECTION CONTROLS or approved language on sign for DOOR 126A. 12x12 minimum sign on red reflective stock and white letters. 15) F0.0: FIRE SPRINKLER PLANS FOR REFERENCE ONLY, SEE SEPARATE PERMIT FOR APPROVED INSTALLATION. 16) F0.0: Reference site plan indicates new 8 fire main. Callout engineering details on civil plans. 17) F3, M1 & M1.1: Duct smoke detectors connected to building fire alarm system. 18) F3: FIRE ALARM PLANS FOR REFERENCE ONLY, SEE SEPARATE PERMIT FOR APPROVED INSTALLATION. City of Edmonds Office of Fire Marshal FIRE PROTECTION COMMENTS/CONDITIONS 19) Fire District #1 will evaluate the necessity of Distributed Antenna System (DAS) for emergency communications (IFC 510) when site is available for testing. Additional permit will be required if needed for DAS system installation.
