It appears that there are two pipe sizes called out for the water service line. Please revise the plans to make sure that all items below have been addressed. 4/24/15 Comment -It appears that a fire sprinkler system is required for this property.Typically if there is an existing water service line from the watermain to the meter it will not be the appropriate size and a new tap will be required. a.Please show the water service line from the meter to the house. b.Please add a note that a 1” meter is to be installed. c.Please show a 1-1/2” line to be installed (as required for a combination fire and domestic service line). d.Please label the pipe material andnotetracer wireto be installed on the water service line. e.There must be a minimum of 3’ separation between the dry utilities (power, gas, cable, etc.) and the water main. Please revise the plans accordingly. 2)12/7/15 –Current location is approved; however, since themeter needs to be upsized due to the requirement for a fire sprinkler system, therewill be a new tap on the main. a.The current and new water service line from themain to the meter comes or will come into the east side of the meter. Please revise your plans to show the water service from the meter to the house leaving the meter on the west side.
