LOCATED AT 190 SUNSET AVE.
Dear Mr.:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division, and it was
found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed
before review can continue:
Height Calculations:
1.The property is zoned BC (Community Business) which permits a
maximum building height of 25 feet. In order to confirm compliance with building height
requirements, please indicate the elevation of the proposed rooftop mechanical equipment.
The city’s height calculation information sheet is attached to provide you with the height
information required when submitting height calculation plans.
Screening:
2. All exterior mechanical equipment must be screened from view. The proposed
rooftop mounted equipment is visible from the south, along Dayton Street, and west, along
Railroad Avenue. Please provide a design for screening the mechanical equipment so that
it will not be visible from the adjacent streets.
Please submit two copies of the height calculations and screening plan to a Development
Services Permit Coordinator. Our office hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, and Wednesdays between 8:00 am and noon.
