Project Name/Address: Naomi Grigg Contact Person/Address, Fax or E-mail: Reviewer: Chris RiveraDivision: ENGINEERING During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at our website: www.edmondswa.gov/under City Government / Development Services Department / Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts: 1)Per the previously submitted and approved permit BLD20130011,theEngineering Department signed off on a site plan similar to the proposed site plan submitted. The difference is an awning of 150sfwas removed from the site plan (mostlikly removed on site with the initial permit).Another removed from the submitted site plan was a proposed driveway, running from theexisting driveway to the north along the front of the home (see attached approved site plan for BLD20130011). With that permit, due to the proposal of the driveway(2) inspections were established, the firstaDriveway-form and slope inspection.Thesecond was aFinal Inspection. When our inspector stopped by it appeared that part of the driveway was constructed, though itdid not meet the city’s requirement of 14% maximum slope. At that time a Correction Notice was left requesting action be taken and a re-call for inspectionbe scheduled. Please find attached, the original Correction Notice. Please address the issues listed or clarify that the new driveway area constructed under permit BLD20130011,has been removed and landscaping restored. If the new driveway will remain, please update the site plan to include the newdrivewayand note within 2) the impervious surface table the new impervious areas. Impervious surfaces are any hard surface (ex. driveways, walkways, gravel or roofs) that prevents or retardsthe entry of water into the ground as it would occur in natural conditions. Please note that if impervious surfaces constructed after 1977 exceed 2000sqft, a stormwater management system will be required. Please show the stormwater system if required. SeeHandout E72. Also, please subtract notes regarding the awning on the site plan and its impervious surfaces from the 3) impervious surface table. Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plansand associated documents with a written response to each item to a Permit Coordinator.
