Therefore, please provide information on all existing signage located on theawning so that this signage can be included in the pending building permit applicationreview.It will need to be determined how many signs are located on this awning and the sizes of these signs in order to determine how much additional signage is allowed for Compass Courses. Maximum Sign Area: 2.As stated within the contract rezone for the subject site (File No. R-4-79), all signs shall be subject to the requirements for signs located within the BC zone. Pursuant to ECDC 20.60.025.A.1, the maximum total permanentsign area within the BC zone is one square foot of sign area for each lineal foot of wall containing the main public entrance. In order to determine compliance with this requirement, please conduct the following: a.Indicate the length(s) of the wall(s) of the building containing main public entrance(s)on the site plan.It appears these may by the northern and western sides of the building. The lengths of these building facades will not only be used to determine the maximum allowed sign area for the building itself, but will also be used to confirm compliance with the maximum allowed wall sign area per façade(pursuant to ECDC 20.60.030.A, the maximum sign area on each wall is onesquare foot per lineal foot of the wall on which the signs are located). b.Provide sign area information for allexisting signs located on the subject building, including any existing signage for other tenantswithin the same building. c.The maximum allowed sign area for the building must be shared amongst the buildingtenants. Please provide a signed letter from the landlord confirming that they authorize the amount of sign area proposed for Compass Courses and confirming that they understand the amount of sign area being used by Compass Courses is taking away from the total sign area available for remaining building tenants. Maximum Number of Signs:P 3.ursuant to Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC) 20.60.025.A.4, the maximum number of permanent signs allowed per tenant space is three.Please ensure that the proposal complies with this requirement. Please submit three copies of allrevised plan sheets to a Development Services Permit Coordinator. Our office hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.
