The City became aware of illicit discharge concerns fromthe Point Edwards Building 10 site last
Friday. City staff made field visits at that time and noted several failures in the temporary erosion
controlmeasures for the site. In addition, the sediment pondvisuallyhad high levels of turbidity.
Discussions were had with someone on site and this correction is in follow-up to that visit. The
followingphotos are provided for your reference and a list of corrections is provided below.
Provide the requested information and site compliance within 3 business days to preventissuance of
a stop work notice for thesite.
1.Vehicles have tracked dirt onto the street.A rock construction entrance shall be provided on
siteto City standards.
2.Street shall be kept clean at all times. Required clean-up shall be done through sweepingor by
vactor.Washing sediment down the streetto a storm inlet is not a permissiblemeans of clean-
up.
3.Exposed soils shall be properly covered and stabilized.
4.Silt fence shall be cleaned out and re-installed as needed to City standards.
5.Concrete wash-out shall be kept on-site. This includes use of an eco pan.The eco pan has been
found in the ROW and right after a concrete pour las week the pan was dry.

Providecopies of reporting to DOE and confirm sitedischarge levels have been compliant.
