Building Permit # BLD20151115 Dear Inspector: At the request of the city of Edmonds I have Building Height Calculation to determine the roof top height of the newly constructed residence at the above noted address. The work was done per city of Edmonds handout #B41. The two story structure was field measured at 24.50 feet from the basement concrete slab surface to the highest roof top. A transitAevel was used to survey the elevation difference from the Bench Mark elevation on top of the lid of the manhole in the paved 74th Ave -W right -away just east of the house. On sheet 1 of 4 of the approved Site Plan the lid is noted as 98.92 feet and the Maximum Permitted Building Height was noted as 125.96 feet. My field survey work provided and existing basement finished floor of 100.08 feet and a roof top height of 124.58 feet. This is less (1.38 feet) than the allowable height of 125.96 and therefore the house meets the city's maximum height requirements.
