During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications are needed. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning and Building, may result in
additional comments. Please redline plans or submit three (3) sets of revised plans/documents with a
written response to each of the items below to a permit coordinator.

Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2floor of City Hall. Permit
Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and Wednesday from 8:30-12.
City of Edmonds handouts, standard details and development code can be referenced on the City website.
Please Note:Building Handouts do not include updated Engineering Division Requirements. Refer to
Engineering Handouts for all Engineering Requirements.
1)
Per the City records, there was a garage added to the property in 1982. Please revise theplan
sheet and impervious surface calculations accordingly.
2)
The Site Plan does not show the driveway as it exists on site. Per old aerials maps, it appears that
the drivewaywas widened after 1977.Please revise the plan sheetand impervioussurface
calculations accordingly.
3)
If the total of impervious area constructed after 1977 exceeds 2000 sqfta stormwater management
system will be required.Per City records(handwritten notes), it appears that there was a retention
system added to the site in 1978.

Please show the system on the plans, if a system was installed.

Please provide information that shows how much imperviousarea the existing system
collects.

If the existing retention system collects impervious surface runoff that equals or is greater
than the square footage of the impervioussurface area constructed after 1977, a new
stormwater system will not be required.

Otherwise, if the impervious area constructed after 1977 exceeds 2000sqft, please show a
stormwater managementsystemdesigned as directed per the Edmonds Community
Development Code (18.30) and the Stormwater Supplement. Please refer to the #E72 City
handouts for additional information.
