During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications are needed. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning and Building, may result in
additional comments. Please redline plans or submit three (3) sets of revised plans/documents with a
written response to each of the items below to a permit coordinator.

Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2floor of City Hall. Permit
Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm. The Permit Center is closed on Wednesdays.
City of Edmonds handouts, standard details and development code can be referenced on the City website.
1.Provide a site plan that clearly shows the sidewalk, property line, column and sign location.
2.Will closure of the sidewalk be necessary for installation of the column? If sidewalk closure is
required, a separate traffic control plan shall be submitted showing required sidewalkclosure signage
consistent with City Handout E81–Traffic Control Requirements
.Please also state the duration of
closure. Closure in excess of 72hrs will require assessment of disruption fees.
3.A Street Use Permit is required to install a sign over the City sidewalk. While blade signs are exempt
from this requirement, a street use permit will still be required for the proposed wall sign. Please refer
to City of Edmonds Handout E75 –Street Use Permit Requirementsfor additional information.
Please read the handout thoroughly and submit all required information, including a certificate of
insurance including specific language and confirming required coverage amounts.
