During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information, corrections,or
clarifications are needed. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Building, or Fire may result in
additional comments. Please redline plans or submit three (3) sets of revised plans/documents with a written
response to each of the items below to a permit coordinator.

SITE PLAN
1)The impervious area proposed for the driveway is not consistent with the Civil Plans. Please
revise the plans accordingly.
2)As changes are made to other plan sheets, please revise this plan sheet accordingly.
TESC
1)Show the construction entrance.
2)Please reference Edmonds Standard Detail E1.3 for thefilter socks that shall be added to any
catch basins downstream from the construction site.
3)Please add a note to the plans that all disturbed soils will be compost amended.
WATER
1)Please label the size of meter to be installed.
2)Please label the size of water service line (minimum of 1” at 160psi is required) to be
installed.
3)Please label the pipe material and note tracer wire to be installed on the water service line.
SEWER
1)Please show the invert elevations at the house so that slope (minimum 2%) and coverage
(minimum 2’) can be verified. If the slope of the pipe exceeds 20% the pipe will need to be
anchored.
2)Please label the pipe material for the side sewer.
STORM
1)Label the pipe material for all storm pipes.
2)Show invert elevations for all pipes at the stubs and the house. Please note that a minimum
of 2’ of cover is required for all pipe under driveable surfaces and 1’ of cover under
landscape areas.
3)Please provide a cross section detail of the detention system located under the permeable
driveway.
4)Please provide the required depth of pervious pavement on the permeable cross section
detail.

This is classified as a Category 2 Small Site because it proposes impervious area exceeding 5,000 SF.
Category 2 Small Site Projects are subject to Small Site Minimum Requirements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,
and 11.
Minimum Requirement #1 –Preparation of Stormwater Site Plan
Comments:
1.Provide Technical Information Report per Section 5.0 of the City of Edmonds 2010 Stormwater
Supplement. The report must be prepared and stamped by a professional engineer licensed in the
State of Washington in Civil Engineering.
2.Drainage plan must be stamped by a professional engineer licensed in the State of Washington in
Civil Engineering
3.Provide permeable pavement detail on drainage plan as prepared by a professional engineer licensed
in the State of Washington in Civil Engineering. See the City of Edmonds handout E72B for
guidance.
Minimum Requirement #2 –Construction Stormwater Pollution Plan
Comments:
1.Provide Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan per Section 5.2 of the City of Edmonds
2010 Stormwater Supplement. The plan sheet(s) are to be separate from the drainage plan sheet(s).
2.Provide detail for catch basin inlet protection BMP.
