Bld20161520 Email to applicant.pdfKevin Zweber From: Kevin Zweber Sent: Thursday, January 19, 2017 11:55 AM To: 'HLIU@WAREMALCOMB.COM' Subject: BId20161520, 22019 Hwy 99, Edmonds -Pad Building In reference to the above project, the requirement for an automatic fire sprinkler system is not reflected on the submission. The occupant load for tenant space 1 (A2) is indicated to be 148, which requires an automatic fire sprinkler in accordance with IFC 903.2.1.2. Under the current submission showing a non -separated use, a automatic fire sprinkler would be required for the building (IBC 508.3). I would encourage the addition of automatic fire sprinklers to the building for future tenant opportunities. Below are the notes provided on 11/15/16. "PLANNING PERMIT REVIEW NOTES FOR 22019 Hwy 99, PLN20160049 1. An automatic fire sprinkler may be required in the assembly portion of the building depending upon the occupant load of that area. 2. If an automatic fire sprinkler is required, provide under deferred submittal: Fire connection permit Fire Sprinkler Permit Fire Alarm Permit 3. Provide fire access to all sides of building, minimum 20' wide, with required signs and markings." Please contact me if you have further questions.
