During review of the abovenoted application, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications are needed. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning and Building, may result in
additional comments. Please redline plans or submit three (3) sets of revised plans/documents with a
written response to each of the items below to a permit coordinator.

Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2floor of City Hall. Permit
Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm. The Permit Center is closed on Wednesdays.
City of Edmonds handouts, standard details and development code can be referenced on the City website.
Please Note:Building Handouts do not include updated Engineering Division Requirements. Refer to
Engineering Handouts for all Engineering Requirements.
1)
Show all impervious areas on the siteplan (i.e. walkways, patios,etc.).
a)If the areas are to be removed, please show them on the plans and label to be removed.
b)Any existing impervious area that isto be removed and replaced where the new additionis to
be placedcan be shown as it currently is on the submitted plans.
c)The driveway is not shown as it exists. Please revise the plans accordingly.

Impervious areas are calculated as new impervious surface areasfor any areasadded to the site
after 1977 or where existing impervious areas are to beremoved to bare soils. The only
exemption (not counted as new impervious area) is the repair of driveways and walkways.
a)Please label the year of construction for all impervious areas on the subject site.
b)It appears that there was an addition completed in 1979. Please clearly show this addition on
the plans and revise theimpervioussurface calculationsaccordingly.

Show the sewer line from the house to the sewer main. If the addition is placed over the sewer, a
cleanout is required on the side sewer within 2’ of the structure. If a cleanout will need to be
added (due to the addition), please note as such on the plans.

Show the water service line from the meter to the house.
