Mr. France,
After reviewing your resubmission I have the following comments:
I was unable to locate any written response as directed in my original comments and in WC3's comment letter. "Please
provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans and cloud the changes or additions", "The
appropriate design professional must address each comments below and submit a written response in addition to
revised plans and calculations if necessary. Please cloud any revisions made to the construction drawings and provide
the date of the latest revision on each revised sheet".
With the limited information provided, the following revisions appear to be missing:
WC3 Letter—
HE — it appears you added something on Sheet 1, it references the 2010 edition of NFPA 13. If in fact you used the 2010
edition, please complete a review using the 2013 edition. This is what is referenced in the International Fire Code. In
the same section you reference the 2012 IBC and IFC, please correct to read 2015.
F5 — I was unable to find anything that references "clearance" requirements.
F6 — Although we discussed this. I was unaware of the IFC requirement.
F13 — Correction on calculations for dry pipe system in the parking area.
F15 — Material data was only provided for the sprinkler heads. Please provide material data for all piping, fittings,
valves, test connections, sway bracing, hangars, etc. as required by NFPA 13.
During one of our conversations I mentioned NFPA 13 sections 8.16.2.4.7 (drains) and 22.15.2.2.1 through 22.15.2.2.1.4.
(garbage chutes) I did find where I sent an email concerning this but to the incorrect contact.
Please make the above corrections and resubmit.
