During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit three (3) sets of revised plans/documents with a
written response to each of the items below to an engineering technician.

Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2 floor of City Hall. Permit
Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:30am-noon.
City of Edmonds handouts, standard details and development code can be referenced on the City website.
GENERAL

1.Complete building permit number on all sheets. Revise address to 8822 218.
2.Please reference short plat information.
Sheet 1 of 5 – SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN
3.Please show the lot line proposed by the short plat to verify utility locations on the lot.
4.Call out size of existing sewer line.
5.Add the following sewer notes to the plan. This note refers to the sewer line running from the property
line in the access road to the property line of this lot.
a. If re-using existing side sewer (from property line to house): Property owner must have condition
verified and provide a report to the Public Works Department.
6.Please revise footing drain note under Storm Drainage Notes to reflect project proposal.
7.Footing Drain Trench call out references geotech. No geotech report has been received for this project.
8.There are 4 locations where utilities are crossing.Please identify separation of each cross and add call-
out for 20’ sleeve over the water line centered at cross. Water shall be above all utilities, if unable to
install water above the crossing utility, line shall be cast iron.
9.Add note to plans: The associated short plat, pln20160025, states the stormwater codes in effect at the
time of civil plan approval. This code version shall apply to permits associated with this plan, as long as
construction on the plat/subdivision starts prior to January 1, 2022. If construction does not begin prior
to this date, the stormwater system for the plat/subdivision shall be redesigned to comply with the codes
in effect at that time.

11.TESC note #10 refers to a geotech report though none was provided. Please revise.
