During review of the resubmittal, it was found that several items are still needed. Please submit revised plans/documents with a written response to each of the items below to a permit
coordinator.
GENERAL
9/4/18 Received - Under Review. Provide an itemized engineers cost estimate for both on-site and off-site (right-of-way) improvements, including traffic control and all utility installations.
Use the King County Bond Quantity Worksheet (available on the county website) and utilize “write-in” sections where appropriate.
The amount of the bond will be based on 120% of the City approved estimate for the off-site improvements.
A 3.3% inspection fee is calculated for the project based on 100% of the City approved estimate for the entire project improvements.
Completed.
12/17/18 Not Received. 10/3/18 This requirement was on the first comment letter dated 12/14/17. There have been no delays by the City or OVWSDpreventing the applicant from meeting this
requirement. There will be no conditional approval of the plans deferring this requirement to a later date. Engineering approval requires the resolution of this issue.
9/4/18 Submittal prior to plan approval.
12/14/17 Olympic View Water and Sewer District shall have their own approval block on pages specific to their review and approval. The applicant will be required to obtain OVWSD project
approval and provide plans with OVWSD signature to the city prior to final approval of the civil plans.12/17/18 Road work on 244th shall not be permitted for 1 year. 10/3/18 The road
is scheduled to be overlayed the week of Oct 10th – Oct 14th. The west lane will be the only lane paved. It may be possible for you to bore under the road. No cuts will be allowed
in the new pavement.OVWSD has been made aware of this situation. The 2 ft sawcut should not be necessary due to the fresh pave. Engineer inspector will determine on site.9/4/18 The
overlay of 244th will be completed prior to October 1, 2018.A moratorium on cutting in the right of way will be in effect until one year from that date. Row cuts will be reviewed and
approved by applications submitted for a ROW permit in 2019. Application can be submitted beginning June 2019. No ROW work shall be approved at this time.12/14/17 Please note***the
City will be overlaying 244th around June of 2018, therefore it is necessary for all roadwork to be completed prior to that. Cuts are prohibited in new asphalt for the first year after
paving, and fines are accrued for any cuts for the next four years. Please add this information to the plans prominently.

Completed.Completed.Completed.10/3/18 Pedestrian easement will be taken to the Council committee for approval on 10/9/18. No action is required on your part. Final recording documents
shall note the easement on the plans with easement language. Currently working with attorney for the language. 9/4/18 Clarification: The easement exhibit and document is required
prior to issuance. The approval process through the City Council is not required prior to issuance. Please submit the documents with the next submittal. Please find template attached.
12/14/17A clear pedestrian path of 5’ in width shall be provided around mailbox. If sidewalk bump out on to private property is required, an easement will need to be granted to the
City. (The City has a basic template for this kind of easement. The process requires that the easement be approved by the city council. This will not hold up issuance of the permit.)
12/17/18 Resolution, removal and replacement required prior to final construction. Provide in something in writing from PUD to confirm that it is in discussions. 10/3/18This requirement
was also part of the 12/14/17 comment letter. The City nor PUD has been causing any delay in the applicant’s process for meeting the requirement. There will be no conditional approval
of the plans deferring this requirement to a later date. Engineering approval requires the resolution of this issue. All of the current plans show the power pole in the access.
9/4/18 Required as a part of the application approval. 12/14/17There are four power poles on the combined properties:Please discuss possible options for removing poles, combining
services on one pole etc. 9/4/18Provide something in writing from Mary McAllister (or other PUD representative) stating that the proposed status of the 4 poles is acceptable.Pole 1is
called out as to be relocated. Please show new location behind the sidewalk.Pole 2shall be relocatedbehind sidewalk or if possible removed with services combined to Pole 1 if allowed
by PUD.Pole 3 is not shown on the proposed plan (or maybe shown under a proposed sfr). While power is shown as being routed underground, the current pole appears to provide service
to properties to the west of the site. Please provide additional information regarding what is proposed for this pole. .Pole 4 is shown on the plans but there is no information regarding
its proposed status.

12/17/18 Comments mention a geotech letter. Not found in submittal.10/3/18In the email to Christina sent on Sept 28th, you have proposed meeting the fire vehicle point load requirement
for the pervious pavement by having the geotech onsite to inspect for adequate compaction. This is not an acceptable solution. At minimum, a letter from the geotech discussing if
compaction can adequately meet the point load requirement and how that can be accomplished is necessary. This cannot be delegated to the field since the functionality of both the stormwater
system and the fire access are affected if the point load requirement is not attainable.
9/4/18 Required prior to application approval.
12/14/17Please provide specification information from the manufacturer of the pervious pavement product showing it can meet the following load bearings as required by the Fire Marshall.
Total load on the front axle: 23,000 lbs
Gross vehicle weight: 75,000 lbs
Total Load on Rear Axles: 48,000 lbs

Please review the building division handout for fence construction. The 6 ft fence is proposed up to the edge of the right of way and therefore requires a separate permit. Please
submit a fence application and drawing to the building division for review prior to the construction of the fence.STORMWATER REPORT-Completed.
