During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at
our website: www.edmondswa.gov/under City Government / Development Services Department /
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:
1)Please add a note: Erosion control shall be provided to City of Edmonds standards.
2)Please add a note: Filter socks will be placed in catch basins within project vicinity as needed per
Edmonds Standard Detail E1.3.
3)Please elaborateon the General Note, “All work performed by public utility entities to remove or
relocate existing utilities shall be done at the permitee’s expense”.
a)Please clarify, the City of Edmonds will not be removing relocating any utilities.
b)Please note: Any work pertaining to utilityremoval and/or relocating may require a separatepermit.
4)Please provide on the site plan the total proposedimpervious surface areas.This should include areas
that are currentlysoil/landscapedas well as the areas where the brick is proposed to be removedand
replaced with the 4”concrete slab.
5)Please show on yoursite plan the stormwater tightline, drains/yard drainsand the existing connection to
the city’sstormwater system.
a)Please show the city’s storm system and the nearest catch basin.
b)Please labelstorm lines as existing orproposedandshow depths,size, invert elevationsandcall out
material.
6)City records indicate a side sewer line exists the north side of the existing southern structure.Please
show onyour site plan the existing side sewer line from the southern structureto the sewer main. Please
call outthe material,size and depths.Cleanouts will need to be accessible.
a) Any work on the existing side sewer will require a separateside sewer permit.
7)Please show on your site plan the location for construction staging.

8)A Right of Way Permit will be required for the use of the right of way while loading and unloading
material and equipment. Only temporary closures will be considered with prior approval from city,
Public Safety & Waste collection. Please apply for a Construction Right of Way permit if needed.
a)Please provide a traffic control plan with the Right of Way permit applicationfor the unloading and
loading of material and equipment within the right of way.
Please resubmit 2copies of the revised plansand associated documents with a written response to each
