Dear Applicant:
I have reviewed the above building permit applicationfor the Planning Division,and it was found that the
following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressedbefore review can continue:
Total Sign Area:
1.The maximum allowed total sign area for Cafe Ladro is one square foot per lineal foot
of tenant space. Your plans indicate both 32 and 46 lineal feet of tenant space. Based on the tenant
improvement plans submitted for the permit recently issued for the improvements to the adjacent tenant
space (Bridge Animal Referral Center, BLD20160850), the Cafe Ladro tenant space scales out at 40
lineal feet, which would yield a total allowable sign area for this tenant of 40 square feet. Please correct
all discrepancies on the plans and provide the correct building frontage for this tenant on the plans.
Existing Sign:
2.Indicate the area of the existing “Drive-Thru”sign mounted to the awning above the
drive-thru. This sign countstowards the maximum allowed sign area for this tenant.
Proposed Sign Area:
3.Your plans state the overall dimensions of the proposed signs; however,
additional dimensions must be indicated on the plans in order to confirm the sign area calculations.
Please indicate the dimensions of the logos and all letters so that staff can confirm the sign area
indicated for each proposed sign.If necessary, the sizes of the proposed signs may need to be reduced
in order to comply with the maximumtotal sign area allowed for this tenant.
Please submit twocopies of allrevised plan sheets to a DevelopmentServices Permit Coordinator. Our office
