Building Official RE: Plan Check # 2008-0107 Project: Remodel & plumbing for Poodle Palace Project Address: 23601 Highway 99, #B During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information, clarifications or changes are needed. Provide written responses to each comment. Please resubmit to Marie Harrison, Senior Permit Coordinator. 1. Provie a detailed scope of work on the plans clearly noting all work to be done in the tenant space. 2. Provide 1 accessible parking stall and accessible route of travel to the public sidewalk and designated building entries (IBC 1106, 1103, 1104). Provide dimensioned parking stall detail (including signage), and note the width and slope of the accessible route from the parking stall to the public way. Accessible details enclosed including the parking plan for your use. 3. The stairs between floors appear to be crossed off the plans, why? Are the stairs blocked, removed? Is there a door separating the upper floor from lower floor? Is the stair a required exit for the upper floor? Provide more information. 4. Fill in dimensions on floor plan. 5. Indicate that the existing toilet room is fully accessible or provide details to show toilet, sink, area, grab bars, etc. compliance (details enclosed). 6. Call out cfin of bath fan, if fan not provided one is required (50 efrn min). 7. Dimension distance from partition walls to customer counter (must be 36" min). 8. The existing plans on file with the City show 3 exit doors out of this space to the outside; have two doors been removed? All exit doors must be shown. 9. A portion of the customer service counter must be accessible (counter surface 36" max above floor, 36" wide surface min. for side approach, 30" wide minimum for front approach). 10. Indicate there is no proposed change to lighting, or submit a lighting budget. 11. Indicate all floor drains. 12. An approved strainer per UPC 401 shall be provided on the bathing tub. 13, indicate. location of dumpster.
