The preliminary floor plan does not indicate any particular areas of concern from a
building code compliance standpoint. Exiting and accessibility appear adequate. Type
of construction methods are not shown. A complete code review will be done upon
submission of construction drawings.
You may deferred submittals. With this moderate size of project, however, a complete
submittal typically would allow for a more expedited review process.
A demolition permit will be required. Any asbestos compliance needs to be coordinated
with the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency.
It is unclear what degree of grading/fill may be done as a part of the site improvements.
A soils report will need to show the final site is adequate for the proposed design.
