Building valuation email.pdf Good morning, The Building Division review of the submitted construction documents for the proposed work to be done under permit BLD2015-0605 has been approved. However, the project valuation entered on the City of Edmonds ‘Residential Building Permit Application’ appears to be lower than that anticipated by the represented scope of work. Prior to the issuance of the permit, a contractor bid or other documentation of the project valuation must be provided and verified to determine the required permit fees. Per Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC) 19.70.015, “Building construction valuation for the purpose of calculating permit fees shall include total value of work including fair-market labor and materials with equipment needed to complete the work, including but not limited to all construction work for which the permit is issued, as well as all finish work, painting, roofing, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, elevators, fire extinguishing systems and any other permanent equipment.”.
