Project: Carlson Deck and Hot Tub
Project Address: 1439 Olympic View Drive.
During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Plans on file may be redline by the architect, or resubmit
revised plans/calcs to Marie Harrison, Permit Coordinator. Coordinate redlining of plans with the
permit coordinator.
1.Guardrail required at deck to protect falls of more than 30. Where a bench is provided as part
of the guardrail, the guardrail is measured from the seat of the bench. Clearly show on the plans
where the fall exceeds 30 and revise guardrail detail at these locations.
2.Detail 3/A1.4, revise guardrail to meet the minimum height of 36 at the stairway.
