During review of the subject submittal it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications will need to be addressed:
Detention/Drainage:
Theimpervioussurfacecalculationsareincorrect.Thereisno'credit'forremovingexisting
impervioussurfacewhenthereisnoexistingdetentionsystemcapacitytotakesuchcreditagainst;
thereforethe1589squarefeetofdrivewaydemolitioncannotbeusedtoreducethetotalareaof
newimpervioussurface.Assuch,yourpost-1977andproposedimpervioussurfacetotalis2852
squarefeet,whichtriggerstherequirementforadetentionsystem.
Pleasenoteonthesiteplanwheresuchasystemistobelocated,aswellaswherethesystem
connectstothecity'sstormwaterconveyancesystem.Ahandoutforsizingadetentionsystem
capableofhandlingupto5000squarefeetofimpervioussurfacerunoffmaybefoundat:
