Dear Mr. and Mrs. Petkovits:
Your land use application for an accessory dwelling unit located at 24233 104" Pl. W. (File No.
PLN20150060) is considered complete pursuant to Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC)
20.02.002. Within the next two weeks I will be notifying your neighbors and the general public, through
postings and legal notice in the paper, of your request to construct an accessory dwelling unit on your
property. The public and your neighbors will be afforded a two week comment period. Once the
comment period is completed, I will continue my review of your application.
Please note, however, that although it has been determined that the application meets the procedural
submission requirements and is therefore complete, additional information may be needed as city staff
continue with review of the application. Staff will contact you as our review continues if additional
information is necessary.
I have attached comments received from the city's Fire Marshal, Building Division and Engineering
Division. The comments or additional information requested will need to be submitted prior to approving
the building permit you submitted for construction of the accessory dwelling unit (File No.
BLD20151355).
