Dear Applicant:
You have submitted an application for Administrative Design Review for the property at 527
Maple Street, which is located in the Multiple Residential (RM-2.4) zone.
City staff has finished the check for “completeness” of your application, including the plans and
other information that was submitted on August 1, 2007. Today, staff determined that all of the
information required by the Edmonds Community Development Code for processing an
COMPLETE
application has been submitted and that, therefore, the application is . This
determination of “completeness” begins formal processing of your application.
If staff finds that additional information is needed; we will notify you in writing that additional
information is needed. While this information-request is pending, the 120-day clock for
processing the application will stop running. When the additional information is submitted, staff
will review it to insure that it responds fully to the information request. When the request for
additional information has been satisfied, the 120-day clock will start running again.
Please provide the following additional information to better support your proposal:

2.I will review this as an Administrative Staff Decision under ECDC 20.11 and 20.95.
However, if you believe that this project will require more than 500 cubic yards of either cut
or fill, please contact me immediately as this will change the review process. If the project
triggers SEPA review, then it will be reclassified as an “ADB Major” project, which goes
before the Architectural Design Board for a public hearing. Also, the following information
would be required:
a.An Environmental (SEPA) Checklist.
b.Adjacent Property Owner (APO) List and notarized declaration.
c.$420 SEPA Review Fee.
d.$2200 ADB Review Fee (and we would credit the $100 that you already paid for
Administrative Design Review).
e.Four additional color copies of the 11x17 elevations.
I am the Planner assigned to your project. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to
contact me at 425.771.0220, extension 1778. Thank you for your interest in development in the
City of Edmonds – I look forward to working with you on this project.
Sincerely,
Gina Coccia
